Secondary School Programs
Engaging, respectful Religious Education sessions for Years 7–12 — meeting students with real talk about belief, purpose, and what it means to live a good life.
About the Program
Teenagers are asking the hardest questions — about identity, meaning, morality, and whether faith has anything to say to them. True Talks doesn't shy away from those questions. We lean into them, creating space for genuine dialogue that students actually want to be part of.
Our facilitators are skilled at building rapport quickly, holding respectful disagreement, and guiding conversations that are both intellectually honest and spiritually grounded.
Enquire About BookingWhat to Expect on the Day
No death-by-PowerPoint. No awkward lectures. True Talks secondary sessions are built for the way teenagers actually engage.
We grab attention from the first moment — a provocative question, a story, or a challenge that signals this isn't your typical RE class.
Themes like purpose, suffering, justice, and faith are explored honestly — with space for doubt, scepticism, and genuine inquiry.
Small group and full-group formats create opportunities for every student to contribute, not just the vocal ones.
We draw direct lines between ancient wisdom and the real choices and pressures students face today.
Where appropriate, we use media, current events, and creative activities to keep sessions relevant and engaging.
Students leave with materials — digital or printed — to continue exploring the themes covered in the session.
Curriculum Alignment
True Talks programs are mapped to standard Religious Education curriculum frameworks, helping your school meet mandatory RE hour requirements with content that's genuinely meaningful.
At a time when identity is front and centre, we explore what faith traditions say about who we are, where we belong, and how we treat one another — with honesty and without pressure.
Deeper exploration of religious ethics, philosophical questions, and how faith relates to justice, suffering, death, and the good life — ideal for older students preparing for exams and adult life.
For schools wanting comparative religion content, we offer sessions exploring multiple religious traditions with respect, nuance, and a focus on shared humanity.
We'll work with your RE coordinator to design a program that fits your specific curriculum goals, school values, and the unique culture of your student community.
